Teachers as Researchers Conference - 23rd May 2018

On Wednesday 23rd May, the Astra Partnerships are excited to be hosting a "Teachers as Researchers" conference at Buckinghamshire New University in High Wycombe. The conference has been designed to inspire teachers and provide the time and space in order to “step back” from daily classroom practice and consider the benefits of engaging with research in line with national and local priorities.

As you will see from the above flyer, you will be able to choose a number of workshops to attend addressing a range of current issues. Additionally, there will be keynotes from both Professor Guy Claxton (renowned author of 'Building Learning Power') and representatives from Buckinghamshire County Council who will be speaking about their current work with local schools in order to 'diminish the difference'.

This conference runs from 10am to 2pm and is open to all teaching staff, especially new entrants. It is priced competitively at £30 per delegate to include all refreshments and a buffet lunch.

If you would like to attend, please complete this form, including your workshop choices, by 17th May.
