Open Afternoon: Weds 8th November 2017 - 'Train to Teach'

The Astra SCITT will be hosting an Open Afternoon on Wednesday 8th November, 1-4pm, at Dr Challoner's Grammar School, Amersham, for all prospective train to teach candidates for 2018/19.  Both recent university graduates and career changers are welcome to attend to find out more about training places in our 35 local primary and secondary schools in Bucks and Herts from September 2018.  Applications to train to teach open via UCAS on 26th October 2017 for the one-year 2018/19 training programmes on both salaried and unsalaried routes, and offer qualified teacher status (QTS) and QTS with PGCE, working with the world-renowned Institute of Education UCL, in a wide range of subjects / phases.  Generous tax-free bursaries for some subjects are also available.  Prospective candidates should have or be completing a degree.
