Jordans School

Jordans is an Ofsted ‘outstanding’ one form infant school catering for 4 – 7 year olds.
We provide a broad and balanced education for all of the children in our care. Our school is a very happy and caring place, which has high expectations of the children in work and behaviour. We care very much about the children we teach and recognise that all children are special. Our central values and vision is ‘be the best you can be’. We are all part of a nurturing learning community. At our school we aim to develop the children’s skills in resilience, reciprocity, respect and resourcefulness. Within our learning journey we aim to embed the life-long character traits of tolerance and respect; empathy and kindness; confidence and optimism; perseverance and determination; honesty and integrity and conscientiousness and curiosity.
We consider these to be essential attributes and behaviours which underpin success in day to day life and in education. We also have high expectations of our whole community and encourage a ‘have a go’ attitude in all areas of the curriculum. We challenge children and the adults within our school to strive to reach their potential in a supportive environment so our school is a safe, happy, fun place to be.
