Educational Priorities Conference 2026 Launched
Posted on: 11/03/2026
The first details of the Buckinghamshire Educational Priorities Conference 2026 have been announced. Titled of 'Behaviour and Beyond: Creating a Culture of Inclusion and Belonging', this year's conference will bring together both research and practice.
The conference will explore classroom strategies for managing pupil behaviour as well as how schools can create an inclusive culture where students have a sense of belonging. Workshops and seminars will have input from colleagues from across the spectrum of local schools - including early years settings, primaries, secondaries and special schools - as well as university-based colleagues, and two keynote speakers will soon be confirmed.
The one day conference on Friday, 12 June will take place at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and Buckinghamshire New University's Aylesbury campus, and is a collaboration between Astra, Buckinghamshire New University and our partner SCITTs in Buckinghamshire, including Chepping View and the Buckingham Partnership. Over 160 QTS & PGCE trainees from across the county are expected to attend.
