Welcome to Waddesdon

Astra is pleased to announce that Waddesdon Church of England School is now able to host Astra trainees for 2025-2026, with placements available in Art, Design and Technology, English, Music, PE, Physics and Spanish.

Waddesdon is an all-ability 11-18 secondary school with around 1,000 students on roll, including a growing Sixth Form of 300 students. Located on a beautiful site on the edge of the Waddesdon Estate, it's also just six miles north of Aylesbury.

Waddesdon school is rooted in the twin values of Dignity and Respect and welcomes staff and students from all faiths and none, with an exceptional focus on community. Indeed, An inspection by the Society for the Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools in March 2018 judged the school to be Outstanding as a Church of England school.
